The Brodowski Quartet is fast emerging as one of the UK’s most exciting young string quartets. The quartet members originate from Germany, Wales, Scotland and England are currently based in London where they are recipients of the Richard Carne Junior Fellowship for Chamber Ensemble at Trinity College of Music and are ‘Associate Artists’ at the Anvil Concert Hall in Basingstoke. Wigmore Hall debut

Radio 3 ‘In Tune’

On Weds 17th June we made our debut on Radio 3’s ‘In tune’ programme. You can hear this programme for up to 7 days after the broadcast using their Listen Again facility.

Zinetti Competition

Brighton Festival Award

Holts Oxford Music Festival

Holts Tours – the leading history tour company, specialising in art, history, architecture and music tours have a terrific selection of cultural tours for 2009. We are delighted to be performing a series of four exclusive concerts in the Holts Oxford Music Festival from 24-28 August 2009. Simon Rowland-Jones will also be giving enlightening pre-concert talks on Haydn’s String Quartets, Bartok Quartet no. 4 and Beethoven Quartet Opus 59, no. 1. Guests stay in one of Oxford’s oldest and most respected colleges, Christ Church and have the opportunity to see behind the scenes this Oxford college. A programme of excursions is also arranged. Great!

Kirker Music Festivals at Sea

We are very pleased to be performing during the November 2009 Kirker Music Cruise Festival. The Tour departs 19th November 2009 for 13 nights and we will be onboard from the 26th November. Exploring Spain, Morocco, Canary Islands and Lisbon whilst enjoying a series of varied chamber music programmes as you sail seems perfect! Read more about Kirker Holidays.

Brodowski Quartet awarded Richard Carne Junior Fellowship

We have recently been awarded the Richard Carne Junior Fellowship for Chamber Ensemble at Trinity College of Music. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to extend our relationship with the college this year, having been the recipients of the Bulldog Scholarship for String Quartet last year. We will continue to work with student chamber ensembles, extend our Schubertiade Project and launch ‘Czardas’ – our folk inspired performance project.
